Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) is a hard surface flooring designed for commercial and institutional applications. They are composed of colored vinyl chips formed into solid sheets of varying thicknesses (1/8” is most common) and cut typically into 12” squares. Vinyl tile is favored over other kinds of flooring materials in high-traffic areas because of its low cost, durability, and ease of maintenance. They have a high resilience to abrasion and impact damage and can be repeatedly refinished with chemical strippers and mechanical buffing equipment. If properly installed, VCT can be easily removed and replaced if damaged. Take a look at our vendors' offerings via the links on this page and give us a call with any questions you might have.
